"What! What!?" Grundy says in disbelief.

The door opens to reveal a whole other dwelling. TikTok
Grundy and her friend were packing up and preparing to check out of their Airbnb when they came across the hidden dwelling lying behind the bookcase.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to call out the apparently obvious hinges on the bookcase alluding the possibility of it being a door.
"Those hinges look super obvious to me, so not a hidden door," one commenter wrote.
Grundy replied, saying, "In hindsight, the hinges are SO obvious, the lamp was in front of that bit though…so it just took us so long to spot them."

The perhaps not-so-secret door actually leads to a common area for guests. Airbnb
The Airbnb is a set of cottages located in the dreamy seaside Welsh town of Aberaeron. The quiet cottages are surrounded by barns and meadows – the perfect cottagecore vibes for a quiet coastal retreat.
While TikTok viewers were quick to point out how easy it was to spot the secret door, in the Airbnb listing, the door is concealed in the corner of the kitchen behind a lounge, a corner table and a lamp – seemingly easy to miss.
According to the owner, the door is not concealing anything secretive, or even the owner's own space. It is in fact a designated communal area decked out with lounges, a piano and a foosball table.
