If you've never flopped onto a hotel bed, snuggled up in the plush robe from the closet, sunk into the cloud-like cushions, and not thought about whether you could quietly pinch one of the pillows on your way out, chances are you're among a minority.

Because let's face it, most of the time we'd love to have a little taste of that hotel luxury at home.

But as upstanding citizens, of course, stealing from a hotel room is not the right thing to do. At least, it usually isn't!

Playing on the guiltiest of pleasures, one Melbourne hotel is actually encouraging 'theft' from its hotel rooms.

The Prince Hotel is wanting guests to steal everything from luxury linen and premium pottery, to high end robes and a boozy mini bar.

As part of Steal The Suite, the hotel has decked out its rooms with a range of cool and coveted items valued at over $2,000 for guests to 'steal' when they check-out.

"We have seen some guests go to extraordinary lengths to smuggle items out of their hotel room, so we decided to expose this guilty pleasure and let guests steal items that are truly worth it," Hotel Manager Ben Chan said.

Steal The Suite rooms are available for $999. So you'll still come out in front!
