Australian thrill-seekers have officially named their top five favourite hikes
In Australia, we are lucky to be surrounded by hundreds of beautiful trails, with one to suit anyone.
Travel experts at AllTrails have compiled the top Aussie trails, from scenic strolls, to overnight hikes, here are the best of the best.

1. Kings Canyon Rim and Creek Walks, NT
The fourth most-popular globally and an Aussie favourite, this loop hike includes jaw-dropping landscapes.
7.4km long, this hike should take roughly two hours to complete.
2. Bald Head, WA
On a small strip between two crystal clear coastlines, the Bald Head walking trail in Albany is a huge favourite.
The 12.6-km out-and-back trail takes four and a half hours to complete.
3. Grand Canyon Track, NSW
The mostly untouched Blue Mountains National Park offers myriad hikes at all different levels of difficulty and length.
This Grand Canyon Track features waterfalls and great views over a 5.8-km loop, taking roughly three hours to complete.
4. Mount Rosea Track, VIC
This cliff-face walk is a 9km out-and-back trail, taking an average of three and a half hours.
It has amazing views on relatively challenging terrain.
5. Sugarloaf Peak and South Jawbone Peak Loop
This 11.3-km loop trail is considered a challenging trail due to its terrain.
Taking roughly four hours, this trail is dangerous, requiring lots of skill.

A sacred location, Uluru is hugely popular amongst tourists.
Its loop trail around the rock is 10 km, with easy terrain meaning it can be completed in two hours.
Wineglass, Tasmania
Featuring stunning coastal views, Wineglass Bay is an 11.6km trail that on average of three hours to complete.
Nestled in the lookout of Freycinet National Park, this has become a popular trail destination.
Bondi to Coogee Walk, NSW
The Bondi to Coogee walk travels across some of Sydney's most popular beaches.
A 12.7km long walk, it takes an average of two to three hours to complete.
A famous hiking path in Sydney, you can start and stop at any of the beaches.
Bluff Knoll summit trail, WA
With views of the Stirling Ranges, this is an awe-inspiring walk that's no small feat.
The 6.3-km out-and-back trail can take around four hours to complete, but is all worth it for the view.
