'Nightmare' video shows holidaymakers in Spain running towards sunbeds
A video showing holidaymakers in Spain racing for sunbeds at a resort has been shared on TikTok.
Guests at the Spring Hotel Bitacora Playa de las Américas can be seen gathering at gates in the video, with a beautiful pool and a limited number of sunbeds on the other side of it.
Next, we see the group surging through to claim their sunbeds.
The video has been shared on TikTok by a women named Chloe Turner @chloeturner_1 with the description: "Another day another sunbed war."

Not everyone is successful owing to the limited number of sunbeds available poolside, despite some of the guests reportedly waiting as long as 90 minutes for their chance to nab one.
"How very sad!!!" one of Turner's TikTok viewers commented.
"What in the live love laugh is going on here," added another.
Another joked: "Then you go on holiday to avoid the stress."
One person suggested: "Why can't hotels allocate sun beds to people when booking?"

As soon as they are given the go ahead the group surges towards the limited number of sunbeds. TikTok
"I have never been to a hotel where this has happened thank god!" another comment reads.
Europe is enjoying a particularly hot summer and scenes like this haven't been uncommon this year, or during previous years.
Some TikTok viewers questioned the travellers' choice of holiday destination.
"Don't you travel to places like this to visit the sea and the beautiful beaches? Why lay around the pool all day long," one questioned.
"This is why I pay more for nice hotels," one person wrote, while another added, "This is why I always get a villa with a pool."
Another joked: "I thought this was footage of the Black Friday sales."

One viewer cheekily suggested: "Wait for them to walk off back to bed and throw their towels away, why the rush?"
"Hotels need to do something, we go away for a break, queuing up at 6. Definitely the worst part of the hols if you want beds around the pool," another said
One fellow traveller said they had a similar experience in Portugal.
"Same thing happened in Portugal for me, but I just threw their towels off a sunbed I wanted when they leave for the whole day. What are they gonna do?" they shared.
"No way this is still happening in 2022," another said.
