'Selfish' holidaymakers have their belongings taken away by staff after breaking one vital rule
A woman has captured the moment staff at a luxury Spanish resort swooped in to put some "selfish" holidaymakers in their place.
British TikToker Amanda Proctor (@mandsandrands) showed staff from the Tenerife resort picking up towels, bags and inflatables strategically left on sunbeds near the hotel pool.
According to Proctor, guests had placed their items on the sunbeds early in the morning, in a bid to try and reserve the prime bathing spots as soon as possible. But their plan was spoiled, seeing as it goes against the resort's strict policy: Holidaymakers cannot reserve sunbeds until 10am.

According to Proctor, the holidayers needn't fear for the sake of their belongings – each chair had a note left on top explaining where they could find their items.
The two videos shared by Proctor have gone viral on TikTok, with one gaining four million views, while another has two and a half million.
With so much interest attracted, the videos have also opened up an interesting conversation about right and wrong, especially when it comes to sharing luxurious amenities made freely available to you.
"More hotels need to start doing this. It should be first come first serve," one person praised in the comments.
"Not put your towel down at 6am for you to rock up at 10am," they added.
Others called the act a "pet peeve" and "selfish".

"Personal pet peeve….parents "reserve" a chair for each and every child. The kids don't spend nearly enough time on the chairs," one user noted.
"They should charge for sunbeds by the hour. [The] majority of sunbeds are unoccupied all day due to selfish people claiming them with towels and belongings," wrote another.
Others joked that a little boy sitting on one of the sunbeds in the video was most likely just minding it for his parents.
"Poor kid has been sent down there by his parents at 6am," one wrote.
