'Peace of mind': Qantas launches trackable luggage in new collaboration
Being able to track your luggage has become a must for many travellers.
While airline baggage tags are supposed to get your suitcases to your destination, there can be mishaps.
Now, Qantas has its own range of trackable luggage.

The airline has teamed up with trendy Aussie luggage firm, July, which makes hard sided-suitcases in chic colours.
The Qantas x July collection features July's CaseSafe tracking technology integrated into the TSA-approved lock system of their suitcases.
They allow fliers to keep track on where their case is through Apple's Find My network or Google's Find Hub.
Qantas Group Chief Customer and Digital Officer Catriona Larritt said the collab adds to what Qantas already does to keep track of luggage.
"This partnership complements our existing baggage tracking features and follows upgrades to the Qantas app, including the introduction of the Australian Travel Declaration, as we continue to work to enhance the digital travel experience," Catriona shared in a statement.

Co-Founder of Melbourne-born July, Athan Didaskalou said it means passengers don't have to worry where their luggage is.
"This built in tracking technology allows travellers to set and forget – knowing that their luggage is always tracked and connected through every step of their journey gives them complete peace of mind," Athan said.
There are two versions in both hand luggage and check bag sizes - and one allows Frequent Fliers to show off their Gold, Platinum, and Platinum One status.
They're being sold on the Qantas Markeplace online or in July shops.

The news comes as Qantas said it is beating an American giant in terms of losing baggage, with aims to do more with tracking bags.
"What United has done with their app and the customer experience, I definitely think that's something to look up to, and what Delta has done on baggage tracking – we are almost there and beating them in terms of having less lost bags," Qantas Domestic chief executive Markus Svensson told The Australian.
Delta sends fliers notifications via their phones on the Fly Delta app, giving them real-time updates on their luggage from check-in to the arrivals carousel.
Apple AirTags and other trackers such as Tiles are allowed in suitcases.
However when it comes to the actual airline bag tags, a scam warning has been issued.
An American Delta worker posted in a thread on Reddit that travellers need to throw away bag tags at home and not at the airport.
"We are getting an influx of fraudulent claims being submitted for 'missing items' as these people are observing who is removing their luggage tags in the claim areas and using your information to submit claims for reimbursement," the employee claimed.
