A look inside Lufthansa's incredible first class suites that are invite-only
Chances are 99.9 per cent of us will never experience it for ourselves, but Lufthansa has unveiled details of its brand new Allegris First Class suites.
And those who are invited, yes, invited, to try the new cabins are going to be flying in some considerable style.
There are just three suites being introduced onto its fleet of A350-900s, two are individual suites, but the one in the middle, aka Suite Plus, is for two passengers.

Passengers can sit side by side, or across from each other. Lufthansa
Passengers can sit side by side, or across from each other. The seats can fold out into a 1.4m-wide double bed, a true 'cuddle class'. The walls are ceiling high and there's an entirely closable door for privacy.
The seats in the individual suites are roomy too at one metre across.

Guests can heat or cool down their seats, there's a large table and a huge 4K entertainment screen and wireless over-ear headphones. There's a wardrobe and individual lamps which allow travellers "to create their very own feel-good atmosphere".
At first the suites are invite-only, but as more are added to its fleet of A350s, they will be available for "targeted upgrades by passengers and later targeted bookings will be possible step by step". It's not been revealed how much the seats will cost later on.

The suites have been designed by PriestmanGoode, Lufthansa
The suites have been designed by PriestmanGoode, and director Daniel MacInnes said the team "has pushed so many boundaries in the development of each of the cabins we have created".
"Lufthansa has not only shown a commitment to including a First Class product, they challenged us to take it to a whole new level and every aspect has been designed and developed from ground up."
The first passengers to try the suites on a scheduled flight will be on the November 9 service from Munich to Bangalore, and then to another Indian city Mumbai on November 15.
There will also be the introduction of VR headsets in the Business Class Suite. Lufthansa
Another highlight for those flying in the pointy end is the introduction of VR headsets in the Business Class Suite.
The German carrier boasts it is the "only airline in the world to exclusively offer content such as captivating cinema-style movies, engaging VR 360-degree travel podcasts, interactive games and soothing relaxation exercises".
