A pop-up museum dedicated to poo is opening in Japan
It’s 2019, and the trend of pop-up ‘museums’ is in full swing. We’ve got the Museum of Ice Cream, Museum of Dogs, Museum of Pizza and the museum of, well, pretty much anything else aesthetically pleasing you can think of.
Next month, Japan will open yet another quirky pop-up – one entirely dedicated to poo.

Yep, the Unko (Japanese for poo) Museum will open its doors in Yokohama on Friday, March 15 and run until Monday, July 15, 2019.
Before you head out and buy yourself some air-freshener prior to your visit, let it be known the museum is more into the emoji kind of poo – not actual human waste. Unko museum will house an array of pastel-coloured poos of all shapes and sizes.

The space will be sectioned off into three areas, each with their own unique themes and kitted out with tonnes of interactive exhibits, including enormous ball pits, towering poo sculptures and unko-shaped seating.
There will also be interactive art displays to get around for a fully immersive experience.

Like any pop-up, expect it to be totally aesthetically pleasing – the perfect spot for some fresh-as-hell Instagram snaps.
