International airfares continue to fall for Aussies, Flight Centre reveals
In good news for Aussie travellers, international airfare prices are continuing to drop, according to new data released by Flight Centre.
As Australians continue to battle increases in cost of living, it's become clear that travel remains a priority for many.
So cheaper flights are welcome news.

In fact, prices for flights departing Australia as of June this year have seen a 13 per cent average decrease when compared to the same period in 2023.
"Travel becoming more affordable is exactly what Australians are after and we're happy to confirm that the downward trend in international airfares is continuing," Flight Centre Travel Group Managing Director Australia James Kavanagh, said.
The trends are even more positive when it comes to flight to some of the most popular destinations for Australians.

Those wanting to escape to Indonesia, Greece and Italy, will benefit from the biggest drops in flight prices.
Indonesia prices were down 18 per cent which equates to an average saving of $182, Greece was down 13 per cent or $389, and Italy flight costs dropped 13 per cent or $365.
"Those are savings that in some instances could be the difference between travellers being able to afford their next trip," James said.
"For others it'll mean they can spend the savings they reap from lower airfares on other experiences while abroad."

While prices have still not returned to pre-COVID levels, it is the fourth consecutive quarter that airfares have decreased.
"[It's] something we hope will continue as airlines introduce new routes and bring back some familiar ones to our shores," James said.
