Flight attendant makes shocking find in airline meal: 'Absolutely unacceptable'
Airline meals tend to get a bad rap most days, but one flight attendant claims to have made a shocking discovery while eating a cabin crew meal on board a recent flight.
Turkish online news publication Gazete Duvar reported the crew member was onboard a SunExpress flight from Ankara, Turkey, to Düsseldorf, Germany, when they found a severed snake head in their meal.
Footage of the meal in question was then shared on the outlet's Youtube page. Watch the video above – fair warning if you've just eaten, it's not pretty!

SunExpress is co-owned by Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, and Sancak Inflight has been named as the airline services company that offers the in-flight catering.
According to a statement shared by the airline, a "detailed investigation" has now been launched into the incident.
"The allegations and shares in the press regarding in-flight food service are absolutely unacceptable and a detailed investigation has been initiated on the subject," the statement read.
"Until the research process in question is concluded, all preventive measures and actions, including stopping the supply of the relevant product, have been taken immediately."

The catering company has defended itself from the horror find, claiming it couldn't have come from the company's kitchen.
"We did not use any of the foreign objects that were supposedly in the food when cooking (due to the technical and thermal conditions used in the in-flight catering facilities)," a statement from Sancak Inflight read.
People were understandably shocked by the story.
One offered a possible explanation in the comments, writing: "Well, I think this one is easy - the snake was in the field where the spinach was growing, and where the spinach got mechanically whacked, including the snake. In a world with industrial food delivery but natural sources, these things happen."
