Flight attendant reveals the 'soul-crushing' question she often receives about her profession
A flight attendant has revealed the sleazy question she hates getting asked about her profession.
In a video posted to TikTok, Elyse McLaughlin @elysemclaughlinx spoke about the query she often receives which "crushes her soul."
McLaughlin gave an example of the type of conversation she usually has with people after they ask "what job do you have?".

To which she replies, "Cabin crew, what about you?"
The flight attendant then revealed that she is usually hit back with, "So are you part of the mile high club?"
McLaughlin made her stance clear, telling followers, "Have you seen how disgusting those toilets are? No thank you."
The clip garnered plenty of internet attention and comments from users chiming in on the situation.
One user joked, "More like what's your favourite aircraft?" to which McLaughlin replied, "Always a Boeing 737-800."

Another remarked, "Screw asking about the mile high club let's get the tea on some of the passengers haha."
In another viral TikTok from last year, one flight attendant shared the "best way" to increase your chances of flying for free in first class.
Cierra Mistt told her followers there are "a lot of ways" you can be upgraded beyond your economy class ticket.
Mistt revealed in a video, "one of the easiest ways to get free upgrades is literally just being nice to your gate agent and flight attendant."

"The miracles we can work when we're given some Starbucks or a bag of chocolates, especially those long days where we have back-to-back flights and don't even have time to go get some food," she added.
Considering it costs nothing to be kind for the four-figure fee some first-class seats cost, it seems like an easy incentive.
