Flight attendant shares: 'Five things I would never do on a plane'
An Emirates flight attendant has shared a video explaining the five things passengers should "never" do on an aircraft, confirming some suspicions about plane cleanliness.
Danielle, who lives in Cheshire in the UK, has shared the video on TikTok (@danidboyy1) and it has quickly gone viral with 4.1 million views from curious travellers.
"Here are five things I would never do if I was travelling as a passenger," she begins the video.
Her first tip is to never "use the bathroom without any shoes on."

"It may look like water on the floor but trust me, guys, it's really not. I am sure you can guess what it is," she explains.
Her second tip, which she admits "might be a little controversial", is to "never fall asleep" with your face against the window.
"So many people, hundreds if not thousands, have had access to that window and have been touching it," Danielle explains.

This leads into her third piece of advice which is to never "touch anything in the bathroom with your bare hands", including the flush. Danielle says she "uses tissues to touch anything."
Next up, she explains the tray table should always be thoroughly sanitised before being used for meals.
"I would never use the aircraft tray table without sanitising it first," she explains.
"Especially true if I am going to eat a meal on there, I would want to make sure it is clean."

Her fifth and final piece of advice, which seems to be related to the hygiene issues mentioned in her first four points, is she would "never join the mile high club."
"Shouldn't the airline make sure the tray tables are clean before each flight?" one TikToker commented.
"So the main tip is to bring anti bacterial wipes and gel," added another.
"Aren't they supposed to be thoroughly cleaned after flights?" another said.

One TikToker shared their experience on a flight that resulted in unexpected sun burn.
"I once fell asleep with the window open and my face next to the window… I woke up to an interesting sun burn," they recalled.
"Basically don't touch anything on a plane," another said.
