Novak Djokovic beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) in the 2008 Australian Open men's final, winning his first Grand Slam title.

It was his second final, having lost to Roger Federer at the 2007 US Open.

Djokovic defeated Federer in the semi-finals here, 7-5, 6-3, 7-6, ending Federer's run of 10 consecutive Grand Slam finals.

Djokovic's win made him the first Serbian to win a Grand Slam singles title, and included a fourth round win over Lleyton Hewitt.

#2 - 2011 Australian Open

Novak Djokovic beat Andy Murray 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 in the 2011 Australian Open men's final, winning his second title at the Grand Slam.

Like his 2008 triumph, he again beat Roger Federer in the semi-finals in straight sets.

It was the start of a stunning year for Djokovic, who went on to capture three major titles and five Masters tournaments.

His Australian Open win was part of a 41-match winning streak that lasted through until the French Open semi-finals.

Pete Sampras declared Djokovic's 2011 season as the best he had seen in his lifetime.

After falling to Roger Federer at the French Open, Djokovic bounced back to claim his third Grand Slam title, and first Wimbledon.

After beating qualifier Bernard Tomic in the quarter-finals, Djokovic downed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semis, before defeating top seed Rafael Nadal in the final, 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3.

Djokovic's win marked the first time since 2002 that neither Federer or Nadal won the Wimbledon title.

Novak Djokovic won his third major of 2011 at the US Open, downing Rafael Nadal in the final, 6-2, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1.

It so nearly wasn't the case for the Serb, who saved two match points in a five-set win over Roger Federer in the semi-finals, just the second time in his career he'd come from two-sets down to win, and the first time since Andy Roddick in 2003 that the US Open champion had won the title after facing a match point.

Novak Djokovic claimed his ninth grand slam title at Wimbledon in 2015, defeating Roger Federer in the final, 7-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 in a rematch of the 2014 decider.

Djokovic had to survive a fourth-round scare against South Africa's Kevin Anderson, after Anderson took the first two sets in tie-breakers. The Serb, however, came back to take the final three sets 6-1, 6-4, 7-5.
