Tomljanovic crashes out in Adelaide
Australian Ajla Tomljanovic has been eliminated from the Adelaide International, losing 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 3-6 to American Sofia Kenin.
In painful scenes for the Tomljanovic camp, Kenin saved three match points in the second set.
De Minaur completes epic comeback win!
Alex de Minaur has done it!
The tenacious Australian has fought back to win his match against Frenchman Ugo Humbert.
The incredible comeback has drawn Australia level with France at 1-1 in the ATP Cup and means the two countries are off to a doubles decider.
"What a turnaround from de Minaur!" said Australian tennis great Todd Woodbridge on Nine's Wide World of Sports.
"What an amazing effort. Never count this man out, particularly when he's on his favourite court in the world."
De Minaur was a relieved man after the extraordinary comeback victory.
"I just had to stick in there, keep pushing myself, got the crowd going and I got that (second) set," de Minaur said on Nine's Wide World of Sports.
"I just had the energy to keep on going."
Demon snares second set!
Australian Alex de Minaur has shown his trademark fighting spirit to force the second set into a tie-break – and he then won the tie-break in convincing fashion.
After Frenchman Ugo Humbert won the first set 6-3 and de Minaur took the second set 7-6 (7-2), the match is off to a deciding tie-break.
Humbert steals point with 'unbelievable' winner
Ugo Humbert of France has pulled off a shot described as "unbelievable" to steal a point against Australian Alex de Minaur in the second set of their ATP Cup clash.
De Minaur appeared to have the point won when he followed up a deep forehand stroke with a sharply angled volley, but Humbert tore across the court and returned the shot, lunging forward as he reached with his left arm.
"This is an unbelievable stretch-get and just a flat-strike, net-skimming winner," said American tennis icon Jim Courier on Nine's Wide World of Sports coverage.
"It was an absolute beauty ... unless you were Alex de Minaur."
Humbert won the first set 6-4 and the second set is level at 2-2.

Djokovic remaining in Australia as court challenge rages
Novak Djokovic will remain in the country as he challenges the Australian Government's decision to cancel his visa, with the appeal set to be heard in the Federal Court on Monday.
The star tennis player's case went before the court at 6pm, where his lawyer Nick Wood pushed for an interim injunction order to be granted to prevent Djokovic being deported before his appeal hearing at 10am on Monday.
No orders were officially made because Judge A Kelly did not have the documents before him.

Rafael Nadal has made it very clear that Novak Djokovic has no one to blame other than himself, as the world No.1 fears being sent home on a plane amid his anti-vaccination stance.
Djokovic is tonight appealing Australia's decision to cancel his visa, after arriving in Melbourne for the Australian Open claiming to have received a medical exemption.
Nadal this afternoon played his first singles match since August in the Melbourne Summer Set, defeating Ricardas Berankis 6-2, 7-5.
The 20-time grand slam singles champion was then asked for his views on the Djokovic drama in his post-match press conference.
"I think if he wanted, he would be playing here in Australia without a problem ... He made his own decisions, and everybody is free to take their own decisions, but then there are some consequences," Nadal said.
"Of course I don't like the situation that is happening. In some way I feel sorry for him.
"But at the same time, he knew the conditions since a lot of months ago, so he makes his own decision."
Nadal then reiterated his opinion on COVID-19 vaccination.
"Of course after a lot of people had been dying for two years, my feeling is the vaccine is the only way to stop this pandemic," Nadal said.
"That's what the people who understand this says, and I am no one to create a different opinion."
