'Absolute perfection': Aussie champ's classic interview after crucial display in Super Bowl win

Australian star Michael Dickson was one of the stars of the Super Bowl, earning high praise and helping secure the win for the Seattle Seahawks.
The Sydney-born Seahawks punter had three kicks in the first half, pinning New England inside their own five-yard line on one attempt, and booting another 50 yards effectively.
Field position was key during the first half in a low scoring game, and he could not have executed his role at a higher level if he tried.

Dickson then had another four punts in the second half, including some of his best work of the season.
His biggest moment came halfway through the fourth quarter when the Patriots had just scored their first touchdown of the game.
Seattle needed to punt and momentum had a chance to flip in what was a two-score game and Dickson narrowly avoided a potential blocked punt, and then boomed one down field, getting a nice bounce all the way down to the goal line.
Instead of a touchback or a shank under pressure, the Aussie delivered a perfect kick that pinned the Patriots back as far as possible and put the pressure squarely on them.
Drake Maye would throw the game-sealing interception on that drive and things spiralled from their for the struggling Pats.
Dickson had one last punt late in the fourth quarter, with the Pats sending an all-out assault at him to block it in a last-ditch attempt to get back into the game.

This forced him to line drive the ball, getting it away quicker than usual, to avoid the ball getting blocked.
Somehow, he still nailed the punt in amidst the chaos, landing the ball within 10 yards of the end zone once again.
CBS lead commentator Mike Tirico couldn't help but give Dickson a shout out.
"Not only did he line-drive it out of there, he got it out of bounds at the five-yard line," Tirico said.
"Folks around the league will tell you that Michael Dickson, the Aussie, might be the best punter in the sport, and that was awesome.
"Got the punt off in under two seconds. Great. 10 out of 10."
A lot of the Australian's praise came in the first half, where he punted three times.
Dickson was called upon late in the first quarter, pulling out a 50-yard punt and showing the Super Bowl stage wasn't daunting him.
"Excellent punt from the Aussie," Chris Fowler said on ESPN.
His second punt came in the second quarter from the edge of his defensive end zone, but managed to flip the field, pinning the Pats at their own 32-yard line.
Dickson's third attempt however was the best of the lot. He punted from the logo at mid field, landing it beautifully inside the five-yard line, with a teammate helping it out of bounds by the end zone.
A perfectly executed punt trapped a Patriots team struggling greatly to move the ball.
"That is absolute perfection from Dickson, who is having a tremendous game," Fowler said.
His efforts have also earned praise from former Australian punter Ben Graham; the first Aussie to ever play in the Super Bowl.
Graham punted for the Arizona Cardinals in 2009's Super Bowl loss to Pittsburgh.
"That is one of the best punts of the year," he said on SEN.
Dickson became the second Aussie to win a Super Bowl, following on from Jordan Mailata's success last year with Philadelphia.
Speaking after the win, the humble 30-year-old said it was a dream come true.
"This means everything. This is what we do it for. It was a crazy game. Our guys balled out. Still soaking it in," Dickson told ESPN.

"It's nice to know that I can play in these type of games and if you ever feel nerves, you look to the guys next to you who are having fun and making plays, it's the best feeling.
"I have big dreams. I knew we were going to get here and get it done. I'm very lucky. I'm very happy."
Dickson is keen to get back home to Australia in the off-season and enjoy a pub feed.
"I love my family and friends. I can't wait to get home. I'll get some chips with some chicken salt. Craving that and a parmy."
