'Something I've considered': Roosters star Dominic Young 'open' to rugby switch
Roosters winger Dominic Young says he's "open" to switching to rugby union as former Roosters teammate Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii turned heads in his stunning Test debut at Twickenham.
Young is said to be held in high regard by England coach Steve Borthwick, while the winger's management believes playing internationally in two codes holds appeal for Young, who stands 200cm tall.
The English star has impressed with his speed on the wing as well as his ability to leap for the high ball but wants to focus on helping the Roosters for the immediate future.

"Yeah, it's something that I've always been open to," Young told The Sydney Morning Herald.
"It's an opportunity that has presented itself before, and it's definitely something I've considered.
"Obviously I've got a few more years here at the Roosters before I need to think about something like that."

Young said he spoke to his family about the 15-man game prior to signing with the NRL but his goal remains in league with his manager adding the young star is committed to the Roosters.
"Definitely, I sat down with my family during that decision-making process, when I was either coming over to the NRL or trying my hand at union," he said.
"It's something I considered very seriously, but I ended up sticking with league. It's what I've been playing all my life, so at the time I thought I'd stick with that.

"Playing on the wing would be pretty transferable, I don't think I would be too bad at it.
"I haven't put too much thought into it, and I'm not looking into it too seriously at the minute. I've still got a few more years at the Roosters."
