Fans celebrating Ivory Coast's qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations have invaded the pitch where they were set upon by riot police in shocking scenes.
The Elephants clinched a berth in the tournament after a lacklustre draw with Cameroon, with jubilant fans mobbing the players and pulling down the crossbar at one end.
Photos have emerged of police striking supporters with batons in an attempt to get them off the pitch.
