'King' Kyle Chalmers, Jess Fox and desperate Matildas headline monster day five for Aussies in Paris
If day one in Paris was big for the Aussies, day five looms as monumental.
Day one gave the country three gold medals - one on the cycling track and two in the pool - but even more could come on Wednesday night and early Thursday morning (AEST).
Outside the medal events, the women's football team is fighting for survival in a monster clash against old rivals America on the pitch.

FOX BACK IN ACTION
The superstar flag bearer already has one gold to her name in Paris.
Now Jess Fox is gunning for another medal when she contests the canoe slalom.
Her semi final is at 11.30pm and she will - hopefully - be contesting the final from 1.25am.
She is already one of the country's greatest Olympians and now has the chance to further that reputation.

GOING FOR GOLD IN THE POOL
Australia's women have largely dominated proceedings in the pool so far in Paris.
Ariarne Titmus, Mollie O'Callaghan, Kaylee McKeown, and the relay freestyle team have all nabbed gold medals.
And there's a chance they can extend the tally on day five.
O'Callaghan and Shayna Jack will go head to head in the 100m freestyle final, while Moesha Johnson will contest the 1500m freestyle final.
And the men have a chance to join the podium, too.
Olympic great Kyle Chalmers is going for gold in the 100m men's freestyle final, which will be at 6.39am.

"Kyle is in top form. He won this event in 2016. To be at the top of the world over an eight year period is incredible," retired Aussie swimmer Stephanie Rice told Stan Sport's Paris Preview show.
"He came second in Tokyo, so he will be looking to come back and defend. What is so unique about Kyle is that fighting spirit. He is such a great racer. Give him the big stage, give him the crowd, give him the cameras and he just lights up."
In the men's 200m breaststroke final, young gun Zac Stubblety-Cook will be out to rain on France's parade when he goes up against local hope Leon Marchand.
They race at 6.31am.
MATILDAS FIGHTING FOR SURVIVAL
Australia's favourite team is on the ropes following a 3-0 loss to Germany and a nailbiting 6-5 win over Zambia.
And if the Matildas lose to the USA on Thursday morning their hopes of an Olympic medal will be over.
The team is well and truly up against it, but can win back the hearts and hopes of a nation with a victory over the mighty Americans.
The game starts at 3am AEST.
BIKE STAR HITS THE TRACK
And on the BMX track, Queensland star Logan Martin will be competing for a medal.
He will contest the men's park final at 10.44pm on Wednesday.
