Rio Olympics: Australian rowing crew celebrates silver medal win

The Australian men’s four rowing team have sat down to enjoy a well-earned coconut juice on Rio’s Ipanema beach after taking out a silver medal yesterday. (All photos by Henri Paget)
Joshua Dunkley-Smith, Will Lockwood, Joshua Booth and Alex Hill finished second behind Great Britain at the Lagoa Stadium.
The team challenged through the race’s mid-section but Britain held strong, the Aussies coming out second, on the sixth day of the competition.
The four spoke to the press today about their win, posing for photographs.
"Credit to them, they held strong and had what it took to hold us off. We were beaten by a better crew,” Lockwood said.
Their victory marks the second rowing silver medal for Australia.
