Aussies 'love' green and white Olympic uniforms
Eleven of Australia's Olympians unveiled the new Sportscraft-designed uniforms at Bondi Beach on Wednesday morning.
A carnival dancer gave a distinctly Brazilian flavour to the event.
The uniforms, which the team will wear during the opening ceremony in Rio, features a green and white striped jacket with white bottoms and shoes.
If canoeist Jessica Fox's smile was anything to go by, she was clearly delighted with the outfit. "I think it has got that fun Rio feel to it but it has that vintage inspiration to it from the previous Olympics," the London K-1 silver medallist said.
The names of Olympic champions are on the lining of the blazers, which made the uniforms "really special" according to Fox.
Kookaburra Jamie Dwyer looked dapper with tie and the green jumper drapped over his shoulders.
Beach volleyball player Taliqua Clancy models the new uniform.
Sevens captains Charlotte Caslick and Ed Jenkins turned models for the morning.
