Round eight tips: Joey says Lachlan Galvin will be 'cheered off' Leichhardt Oval after upset win

Andrew Johns reckons Wests Tigers fans will end up applauding teen playmaker Lachlan Galvin off the field at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.
The 19-year-old was the subject of serious threats last week after his management knocked back a lucrative contract extension with the perennial battlers.

The Concord club organised security specifically for Galvin when he played reserve grade at Lidcombe Oval on Monday, although the reception from fans was roundly positive.
He has been recalled to the NRL side for its round eight clash with the Sharks.
Galvin will be running out among thousands of passionate Tigers supporters at their spiritual home in Sydney's inner west.

Johns believes Galvin may be booed at the start of the game, but is backing the young halfback to orchestrate an upset victory over the Sharks.
"This will be an absolute beauty," Johns told Wide World of Sports.
"Will (Galvin) get cheered?
"I'm tipping the Tigers. If he gets booed - Galvin - before kick-off, if they win and he plays well, they will cheer him off.
"Everything is forgotten after a win."

Brad Fittler was at Brookvale Oval this season when Manly fans cheered Daly Cherry-Evans onto the field.
Cherry-Evans had just announced he would leave the Sea Eagles at season's end.
Fittler hopes Tigers fans take a leaf out of their book and do the same to support Galvin.
"I think so... I hope so," Fittler said.
"I remember when Cherry got cheered. That was an awesome moment, it was brilliant."
The Tigers are not the only upset Johns is tipping in round eight.
He reckons the Sea Eagles - with the addition of Tom Trbojevic back from injury - will ambush the Panthers.
Penrith hooker Mitch Kenny is sidelined after a controversial hip-drop ban.
"Mitch Kenny isn't playing, he's out for a couple of weeks with that hip-drop... whatever that is now," Johns said.
"I think Manly. Without Mitch Kenny, Penrith struggle defensively. I think Manly can get the win here."
