Roosters' roster calls in the spotlight

The Bondi glamour club is now 1-2 and looking increasingly like a difficult season is ahead in 2025.
Recruitment decisions made last year will continue to be scrutinised and a starring performance from a player who was contracted but released early by the Roosters last year again put the issue in the spotlight during round three.

1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (Warriors)
Superb at the back against the Roosters with 314 run metres, two try assists and seven tackle breaks.
2. Ronaldo Mulitalo (Sharks)
Too fast and too slippery for the Bunnies, running for 200 metres and having a hand in a couple of tries. One of the game's real crowd pleasers.
3. Ali Leiataua (Warriors)
His two solo tries lit up a drab, dull game and proved the difference in the defeat of the Roosters.
4. Reuben Garrick (Sea Eagles)
Celebrated the birth of his new baby with four tries and a swag of goals in the massacre of the Raiders.
5. Zac Lomax (Eels)
Alternating between centre and wing, he gave his all and was unlucky to finish on the losing side, making nearly 300 run metres.
6. Cam Munster (Storm)
At his mischievous best, rattling the Panthers with both his sledging and his skills on Thursday night and coming up with three try assists.
7. Adam Reynolds (Broncos)
Showed all his class and experience to lead the Broncos through some tough moments to take the points in the Queensland derby against the Cowboys.
8. Payne Haas (Broncos)
Scored an awesome solo try and had another disallowed to add to the hapless Cowboys' woes on Friday night.
9. Api Koroisau (Tigers)
Terrorised the Dolphins around the rucks, scoring a try, laying on another and always probing for breaks.
