High-flying Dogs become Origin bolters
Canterbury is flying high atop the NRL ladder with six wins from six games in 2025.
The team's form is so hot that a number of players are suddenly in the frame for State of Origin selection.

2. Tyrell Sloan (Dragons)
Scored two tries, made two line breaks and ran for 200 metres as the Dragons out-enthused Manly at Brookvale.
3. Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins)
Is this bloke the most consistent centre in the game? Carved up the highly-rated Storm backline to lead his team to its stunning 42-22 win on Good Friday.
4. Bronson Xerri (Bulldogs)
Continued his push for Origin selection with a try and several fine runs in the defeat of the Rabbitohs.
5. Savelio Tamale (Raiders)
Much-improved flanker - scored a fine try and ran for more metres than any player on the field in a fast, open win over the Titans.
6. Mitchell Moses (Eels)
Returned to footy with flair, setting up four tries as the Eels scored a morale-boosting win over the Tigers on Monday afternoon.
7. Isaiya Katoa (Dolphins)
Destroyed the Storm defence with three try assists - the best rising halfback in the league without question.
8. Toby Couchman (Dragons)
Led the Red V pack in both tackles and running metres in an inspirational display in the upset win over the Sea Eagles on Thursday night.
9. Mitch Kenny (Panthers)
One of the unsung heroes of the mighty Penrith side, he topped the tackle count and set up a crucial try in the big return to form against the Roosters.
