'Won't be the end of me': Kieran Foran to miss three months in cruel blow for Gold Coast Titans

Gold Coast veteran Kieran Foran will miss the next three months after an injury suffered during the side's pre-season trial against the Dolphins.
The 34-year-old's arm was caught as an opposing player ran through a tackle and he was swiftly taken from the field by the trainer.
Early indications were that Foran had a torn biceps and the club have since confirmed the Kiwi halfback will undergo surgery and be out of action for 12 weeks.

The diagnosis would likely see Foran return for the second-half of the 2025 campaign.
"It won't be the end of me," a defiant Foran said post-game.
"I've committed to this year and I'm sticking strong to that. I've gotten pretty good at dealing with these setbacks.
"I'll knuckle down with my rehab and then attack the back end of the year."
Before the Titans kicked off their clash with the Dolphins, Foran was shifted from the halves to the interchange bench to make way for Jayden Campbell.
It appears as though Campbell will now partner AJ Brimson in the halves.

Josiah Pahulu (concussion) was also taken from the field for Gold Coast, while opposing winger Jack Bostock could miss the start of the season.
Following a horror defeat by the Broncos in their first trial match, the Titans bounced back to hold off the Dolphins with a hard-fought 26-18 win.
