Roosters show premiership credentials to sour rugby convert's debut
Australian rugby convert Teagan Levi did not get the result she was hoping for in her NRLW debut with the Titans, suffering a 34-10 loss to the Sydney Roosters.
Levi lined up alongside experienced playmaker Lauren Brown in her league debut and stamped her name in the books as the team’s first try scorer of the season.

The Roosters had crossed twice within 15 minutes before Levi found the tryline, putting in a short grubber before regathering the ball and muscling over to score.
“Welcome to the big time in the NRLW,” Nine caller Peter Psaltis said.
Levi’s try marked the first time the Titans had threatened the Roosters inside their 20, but it was not long until momentum shifted back in favour of the visitors.
Brydie Parker wasted no time finding a reply to Levi’s efforts, firing over to increase the Roosters’ lead to 16-4. Jayme Fressard added another four points on the stroke of half-time when she claimed her second try of the match.
The Titans did not lose hope when they returned for the second half, capitalising off the back of a penalty for a hip drop tackle performed by Roosters rugby convert Sariah Paki when attempting to stop Levi in her steps.
Levi was not overly worried by the incident, jumping back to her feet to get back in the action and help set up the path for Destiny Mino-Sinapati to score.
It was in that moment that Millie Elliott realised how big of a threat Levi was.
“We know Teagan is such a threat with the footy,” Elliott told Nine post-match.
“She’s being playing a lot of 7s ... so we knew in and around the ruck with her grubbers (would be a challenge).
“She is such a great player. She will be one to watch in the future ahead.”
Despite small glimpses that the Titans could be hidden threat this season, it was clear to all that Tricolours’ class was simply too strong for the hosts to stop.
Jessica Sergis, Tarryn Aiken and Isabelle Kelly all went on to score to claim a 34-10 win.
