NRLW star Millie Elliott has publicly criticised the likeness of her character in the new Rugby League 26 game, joining a host of players in their complaints.

On Triple M, Elliott laughed about her character, comparing it to her husband, Newcastle Knights forward Adam Elliott.

"It looks nothing like me. Adam's looks like he's own doppelganger, it looks exactly like him," she said.

"Maybe we should just be grateful that we're in the game but overall I know the fans aren't happy too ... from the facial scans to the player ratings and even the gameplay, nah."

Now it's been revealed the RLPA reportedly has raised concerns about the game while The Sydney Morning Herald also stated some players were not available to be scanned by representatives of developer, Big Ant Studios.

"We went to great lengths to capture NRL and NRLW players in person," Big Ant Studios chief executive, Ross Symons, told the Herald.

"All players – equally from both the NRL and NRLW – who chose to attend the photogrammetry sessions are accurately and faithfully represented in the game."

The game was released on July 17 and what followed was a number of videos on social media showing glaring glitches in game play.
