'It's probably not theirs': Millie Elliott's urgent plea to social media followers after NRLW premiership ring stolen

Roosters premiership star Millie Elliott has delivered a devastating plea to her followers on social media after revealing thieves broke into her Newcastle home and stole her NRLW premiership ring.
Elliott was a crucial cog in the Tricolours' 32-28 triumph over the Sharks in last Sunday's NRLW grand final.
In an Instagram story posted on Saturday afternoon, Elliott called on her followers to keep their eyes peeled for her No.8 ring.

"If you work at a pawnshop in Newy and someone came in with a number 8 premiership ring to swap for cash, please let me know because it's probably not theirs and they came into my house and night and stole it," she said.
As is tradition, the 17 players and coach of the winning grand final side each receive a ring with their number engraved on the side.
Each ring is reportedly valued at $10,000 as it is encrusted with two carats of diamonds.
With the win over the Sharks, Elliott became just the second NRL/ NRLW player to achieve three premiership victories with three different clubs having also secured two titles with the Brisbane Broncos in 2019 and 2020 and an additional one with the Newcastle Knights in 2022.
Elliott is preparing to represent the Australian Jillaroos in their Pacific Championships showdown with the Papua New Guinea Orchids on Friday, October 18.
