Tamika Upton becomes first NRLW player to win multiple Dally M medals after return to former club
Tamika Upton has celebrated an NRLW first, winning the Dally M Medal for the second time.
The award makes her the first female to win it twice.
In the final round, Upton's teammate Julia Robinson drew level with her on 32 points. However, Upton polled three points and moved ahead of her to 35.

Upton was complimentary of her teammate on the podium, saying "she deserved it as well".
The fullback returned to the Brisbane Broncos this season after leaving the Knights. She will play in the grand final against the Sydney Roosters.
"It's been a pretty interesting year for me," she said.
"I've been at the Newcastle Knights, which I'm very grateful for and grateful for all the teammates and friendships that I got there.

"And (I was) fortunate enough to be able to come home, was welcomed with opening arms by my teammates, and more importantly the club.
"I've absolutely loved my time off the field, and I think that's shown on the field. When you're happy you're playing your best footy.
"Love all my teammates, can't wait to see my friends and family and more importantly can't wait to get out there on Sunday."
