'Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated': Broncos condemn fans in wild fight, issue stern warning

The Broncos have condemned Brisbane and Penrith fans involved in a wild fight in the concourse of Suncorp Stadium following Friday night's match.

The club also warned those involved could be facing lengthy bans from attending NRL games.

Vision circulating online in the wake of Penrith's 26-0 thrashing of Brisbane in round one shows three men in a fight.

A female Broncos supporter joins in, kicking a Panthers fan, as other people swarm in to break up the melee.

One man involved in breaking up the fight can be heard yelling: "Stop, stop, enough, enough."

The vision also shows several other smaller fights.

"The behaviour shown in footage circulating online is disappointing and does not reflect the values of the Broncos or the overwhelming majority of fans who support the game in the right spirit," the Broncos said in a statement.

"Rugby league is a game for families and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

"Those involved risk significant sanctions, including long-term bans from attending NRL matches."

Suncorp Stadium management and Queensland Police are responsible for the venue's security.

Investigations are ongoing.
