The Mole's Team of the Week: Herbie Farnworth cements 'game's best centre' tag with scintillating display
The Mole's Team of the Week
Some big names produced stellar performances over the weekend - but one star stood above the rest and cemented himself as the best player in his position.
The Mole takes a look at the best of the bunch following a chaotic round 14.
1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (Warriors)
Ran for nearly 250 metres in the big win over the Sharks on Saturday night and also safe under pressure.
2. Jamayne Isaako (Dolphins)
Two tries and two line breaks for this classy finisher as the Dolphins ran riot out wide against the Dragons on Friday night.
3. Dane Gagai (Knights)
The most dangerous player on the field in a golden point thriller against Manly on Thursday night.
Throw him a Queensland jumper!
4. Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins)
The game's best centre decimated the dismal Dragons with two tries and nearly 250 running metres on Friday night.
Should play Origin… for NSW in one game and QLD in another!
5. Kotoni Staggs (Broncos)
Played centre but has to be in the team after his best game of the year, scoring a try and making another in the 44-14 destruction of the Titans.
6. Ethan Strange (Raiders)
Just pipped Fletcher Sharpe with his best game in the top grade, scoring two tries and beating tackles every time the ball came his way against the Bunnies.
7. Jahrome Hughes (Storm)
Should be the highest paid player in the game - that's how good he is. Scored two tries and set up two more in the big win over the Cowboys.
Honourable mention for Dolphins star Isaiya Katoa.
8. James Fisher-Harris (Warriors)
Won his big-man battle with Addin Fonua-Blake up front, scoring a try and running for over 100 metres - to lead the Wahs to victory over Cronulla.
9. Mitch Kenny (Panthers)
Topped the tackle count and controlled play from dummy-half in the tense win over the Tigers on Sunday afternoon.
