Penrith hooker Mitchell Kenny has hit back at disgruntled punters in a now-deleted social media post shared to his Instagram.
On Sunday morning, Kenny called out online trolls after being targeted following the Panthers' golden point draw with the Cowboys on Saturday.
Kenny voiced that he was the subject of betting-related online abuse after the Panthers failed to secure the win with a field goal.

On the last play of regulation time and with 20 seconds remaining in the second half of golden point, Kenny opted to run the ball from dummy-half rather than passing it to teammate Nathan Cleary, who was in position to attempt a field goal.
Cleary had earlier missed an attempt with his shot charged down.
In an Instagram story, Kenny highlighted the social media abuse he was being subjected to after the game, sharing a string of messages from a punter suggesting his actions had cost him a payout on a bet.

In March 2021, since-retired Roosters centre Josh Morris was the target of threatening online abuse from a social media under over a failed multi bet.
Taking online trolls to task in an Instagram story of his own, Morris declared: "We don't care about your multis".
