Rugby league's takeover of Las Vegas is off to a shaky start this year, with an international clash between Greece and USA called off due to player saftey concerns.
The fixture was scheduled to kick off at 1pm (AEDT) and be live streamed to fans online, was delayed due to lighting problems at Silverbowl Park.
However, after almost two hours of waiting, officials had no choice but to cancel the game, leaving players from both teams stranded.

The scene at Silverbowl Park in Las Vegas for Greece vs USA. Twitter
"The USA v Greece match has been called off due to player safety caused by lighting issues at Silverbowl Park, Las Vegas," a statement via X said.
"The issue was caused by thieves stealing the copper from the light.
"Electricians from Clarke County were unable to rectify the issue."
The game was set to feature a host of lower grade players from Australia, who flew over to Vegas for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Former NRL player Daniel Vidot was also named to play for the United States after living overseas in recent years during his professional wrestling career.
The men's and women's double-header has since been rescheduled for Friday afternoon local time to avoid any potential lighting issues.
