Eels second-rower Kelma Tuilagi hit with three-match ban after shoulder charge in first tackle of the match
Eels second-rower Kelma Tuilagi has been hit with a three-match ban after he was put on report for the first tackle of the match against the Tigers.
Straight from the kick-off, Tigers prop Terrell May charged towards the Eels defence and was hit hard by three Eels defenders.
A penalty wasn't given at the time, with Tuilagi put on report three minutes later as the Eels lined up a penalty goal for a separate incident.

Tuilagi has since been charged by the match review committee with a grade two shoulder charge.

The second-rower has been hit with his second offence and will be banned for three matches if he pleads guilty.
If he challenges the call, he could face a four-match ban if found guilty at the judiciary panel.

Parramatta went on to win the game 36-22 to record its second victory of the year.
Sunia Turuva was fined $1800 for contrary conduct in the game after throwing Ryley Smith to the ground, leading to a melee. Turuva was sin-binned for the act.
Mitchell Moses was also fined $1000 for a high tackle on Luke Laulilii in the 67th minute. Moses' tackle was a try-saving effort but was only deemed a penalty.
