Grand final star Paul Alamoti inks contract extension with Panthers
Penrith coach Ivan Cleary is not letting Paul Alamoti leave the foot of the mountains any time soon as the star outside back inks a two-year extensions with the club.
The 20-year-old arrived in Penrith on a one-year contract but will now remain in the Panthers jumper until the end of 2027.
Alamoti, who is entering his third season in first grade, has been a standout performer for the four-time premiers and played a vital role in the grand final triumph.

Alamoti joined the Panthers following an exit from the Canterbury Bulldogs after his debut season.

Since trading his colours, Alamoti has crossed for eight tries in 18 appearances and successfully kicked 18 goals.
"We're pleased to have Paul commit to Panthers until the end of 2027," Panthers general manager of football Shane Elford said.
"Paul is an exceptionally talented and respectful young man, both on and off the field.
"He has taken every opportunity presented to him, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him with the Panthers."

The young gun's impressive run this season earned him an international call up with Tonga for the Pacific Championships.
Alamoti will return to action on November 2 when Tonga faces New Zealand.
