'Wealth of experience': Former South Sydney coach Jason Demetriou scores new job
Former South Sydney coach Jason Demetriou has landed another job on top of his current position as Papua New Guinea coach.
The ex-Rabbitohs mentor was announced as the new head coach of Westfields Sports High School
Westfields has a rich history of producing past and present NRL players and will now have a coach with real NRL experience to head their program.

Demetriou was axed by Souths earlier this year after the club's poor start to the season.
"We are excited to announce that Jason Demetriou is heading the coaching staff at Westfields Sports High School Rugby League program," the school announced on social media.
"With his wealth of experience and proven track record in the NRL, Jason brings invaluable expertise to our players, helping to shape the next generation of rugby league talent.
"Jason's leadership and dedication to developing players will be a tremendous asset as we continue to build on the legacy of excellence at Westfields Sports.
"We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have on our program and student-athletes."
Demetriou has kept busy since being let go by Souths, doing some work in the media and putting his hand up to coach the Kumuls.
The job with the PNG national team comes at a pivotal time for the country and the NRL, with the code's PNG franchise expected to be passed at a meeting in Sydney next week.
"It's going to open the door for PNG rugby league to continue its growth," Demetriou said.
"They'll sell out that stadium. They'll probably have to increase the capacity because they'll sell that out every week.
"To see that [the announcement] is coming close, it'll be a huge milestone for PNG rugby league."
He added: "[PNG] is the biggest talent pool that the game can expand to, without a doubt.
"It's going to have a huge impact on the Digicel Cup over there, which for me is a fantastic competition and can grow and arguably be as strong as [the] NSW or Queensland cups.
"I truly believe that within two or three years, that competition will be as strong as both of those competitions and you'll have 12 teams feeding into one NRL side."
