'Very strong chance': Injured star Cameron Munster firming for Melbourne Storm return
Melbourne are set to receive a major boost next week, with five-eighth Cameron Munster in line for a return from a groin injury.
The 29-year-old hasn't played since Magic Round, but despite initial fears he could be forced to undergo season-ending surgery, the playmaker is progressing well.
Speaking on Wide World Of Sports radio on Thursday night, general manager of football Frank Ponissi gave a positive update on the sidelined Storm superstar.

"He's a very strong chance of playing next Friday night against Parramatta - that's what we're gearing it to be," Ponissi said.

"I haven't seen Munster for a while, but the reports are that he's training well.
"If he doesn't play against Parramatta, we'll expect him the week after against St George. At this stage, he's a very strong chance of playing against the Eels."
Munster will come back into the Storm line-up at an opportune time, with his side sitting pretty atop the NRL ladder as the competition enters its final eight weeks.

Melbourne will also be boosted by the inclusion of Harry Grant for this weekend's blockbuster against the Roosters, with the hooker overcoming a sternum issue and getting through the State of Origin decider unscathed.

"Harry put his hand up straight after the game last night and he's pulled up well today," Ponissi said.
"He's an important player for us on Saturday, we've got a massive game against the Roosters. They've got some players backing up from Origin as well.
"It's a critical game, we've got a great rivalry with the Roosters… we're both top-four teams, so it's important that we continue winning."
Nick Meaney is also back in round 20 for the Storm, while Xavier Coates remains out of action with a hamstring injury.
