That wraps up our LIVE coverage of NRL action. Thanks for joining us!

FULL TIME

Damien McCartney

There was a bit of drama late in this one. The Jye Grey scored another late try, and Dean Hawkins added the extras to get the lead down below 10.

But it was obviously too little too late.

Concerning for the Roosters though - young debutant De La Salle Va'a came from the field for a HIA after coming off second best trying to make a tackle on Tom Burgess.

Burgess was running at full tilt, and Va'a got his head in the wrong place and got smoked. He stumbled out of the tackle and came straight from the field.

The Roosters held on 36-28 winners.

Burgess scores on Bunnies farewell

Damien McCartney

Tom Burgess has scored - and converted - his own try in his last appearance for the Rabbitohs.

He was coming off the back fence, but he didn't need to. In a rare error from the Chooks, Burgess had a massive gap to run into.

Not a hand was laid on him.

The kick was a shocker. Less said the better, but check it out in the video below.

Munro sprints away

Damien McCartney

Tyrone Munro has just gone length of the field in a rare Bunnies highlight.

Mark Nawaqanitawase spilled the pill in an aerial dual, and Munro scooped up the crumbs before running 95m to score.

"As soon as he broke that first tackle, no one was catching him," Billy Slater said in commentary for Nine.

Pauga sends injury scare through Roosters camp

Damien McCartney

Junior Pauga just sent an injury scare through the Roosters camp.

He'd just scored his third try of the night, but in doing so the point of his knee dug in to the Accor Stadium turf.

He tried to get up after scoring the try, but quickly collapsed back to the turf.

Billy Slater said in commentary for Nine it looked like an MCL injury.

But after some hard work from the Roosters trainer, Pauga jogged the injury off and stayed on the park.

Roosters scoring for fun

Damien McCartney

Tonight's on-field action hasn't been the strongest, and the Roosters are starting to score tries for fun.

Teddy has another, and should've had a hat-trick not long after but tried to give it off to Tupouniua and threw a forward pass.

He probably would've got there himself.

Tom Burgess is about to come onto the field for the last time as a Rabbitoh.

Roosters go bang-bang-(bang)

Damien McCartney

Well this game is over.

The Roosters have scored two tries and had a third disallowed in a matter of minutes.

Sitili Tupouniua was first to score, put in a gaping hole by Sandon Smith. He strolled over the line almost literally untouched.

From the sidelines, Suaalii nailed a stunner.

And in the following set from the restart, Angus Crichton made a break through the middle, and then he got it away to his skipper James Tedesco.

"They're having fun now, the Roosters," Billy Slater said in commentary for Nine.

Suaalii looked to have scored a third, but the Bunker had other ideas. Luke Keary was pinged for a marginal obstruction call on Jye Gray.

We're back!

Damien McCartney

The Bunnies will in 40 minutes be the fifth team to officially end their season.

Can they do it with a win?

They're still within touching distance of this Roosters team devoid of most of their top talent.

Roosters score another on half time

Damien McCartney

See previous post re tries.

But guess what. There's been another one.

Junior Pauga has his second of the night, and that one was all James Tedesco.

Teddy sensed an overlap, and basically batted the pass out to his winger who scored in the corner. Too east.

Suaalii is on kicking duties and he missed another one.

The tricolours head into the sheds with a 14-10 lead.

Walker scores as Bunnies hit straight back

Damien McCartney

Jeez defence tonight in general is lacking. I normally try and tell more than just tries, but dead set points are just coming thick and fast in this one.

Cody Walker has again done the old show and go, but this time he ran through the line himself to score.

Cook missed the first conversion, but Walker scored this one behind the posts and even I could've thrown that one over.

The Bunnies have had most of the field position, and the discipline of this second-string Roosters outfit hasn't been great.
