Kalyn Ponga has given an update on his hip at full-time.

"Few needles at half-time definitely helped, it shouldn't be too bad I think I just banged my hip," he told Nine.

"I'm was never going to come off myself. I got to half-time and just waited to see how it was and I was sweet in the second half."

He's failed to break the Roosters' line yet but.

"He's come good, he's back. It's that magic water," Andrew Johns said on Nine.

Reminded of his previous comments, Johns was in a joking mood.

"He was never in doubt, I knew he'd come good," he laughed.
