With minimal incidents, this year's instalment is officially the fastest-ever race finish in the iconic event's history.

The 161 laps were completed in just under six hours for the first time in the race's 66 editions as Brodie Kosteck and Erebus Motorsport reigned supreme.

What an achievement this win at Bathurst would be for Brodie Kostecki.

The 26-year-old will depart Erebus Motorsport at the end of the season following a well-publicised spat with the team.
