Mayweather wins rematch amid bite claims
Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather has claimed his 47th straight fight by beating Argentine slugger Marcos Maidana in a bad-tempered rematch that was marred by bite claims.
Mayweather, who hasn't lost a fight since the 1996 Olympics, successfully defended his World Boxing Association and World Boxing Council welterweight belts and the WBC junior middleweight belt in a unanimous points decision.
But the bout was engulfed in controversy as Mayweather accused Maidana of biting him.

Mayweather was a heavy favourite coming into the bout in Las Vegas.
He'd won their first fight by a majority decision in May.
Their rematch ended up a spiteful affair.
At one point, the referee stopped the fight and deducted a point from Maidana.
Maidana used his left forearm to push back Mayweather in the 10th round.
Mayweather ended up on the canvas.
But both fighters used questionable tactics over the course of the fight.
