Johnson dismayed after hitting bouncer victim
A batsman being hit by a bouncer has revealed cricket's new landscape following the tragic death of Phillip Hughes.
Celebration quickly turned to concern for Mitchell Johnson after he struck Indian skipper Virat Kohli first ball after taking a wicket in the First Test.
Johnson quickly went from a high to an upsetting low after he hit Kohli flush on the front of the helmet with a bouncer.
Rushing in to check on Kohli’s health, Johnson was pulled away by Michael Clarke, who tried to soothe the emotions of his spearhead bowler.
