ICC Test team of the year for 2014
The International Cricket Council has named its Test and One Day teams of the year with the world's best featuring in two all-class sides.
But in a clear sign of Australia's fading stocks just two players - master blaster David Warner and pace spearhead Mitchell Johnson - have made the starting 11 Test team.
The side includes three Sri Lankans, headed by captain Angelo Matthews, two South Africans, two Kiwis, two Englishman and, unusually, not a single Indian.

Kane Williamson - Young New Zealander who's quickly making a name for himself.
Kumar Sangakkara - Strong and skilful. The perfect foil at the no. 3 spot.
AB de Villiers - The anchor at the top of the order. Wicketkeeper in this team.
Joe Root - A classy batsman. Can play a variety of spots in the top order.
Angelo Mathews (C) - All-rounder who can plunder runs and take vital wickets.
Stuart Broad - Destroys top orders with line and length.
Dale Steyn - Has been the world's premier fast bowler for the past couple of years.
Rangana Herath - A spinner who has been compared to the great Muttiah Muralitharan.
