A 136kg university baseball pitcher has become an unlikely sports sensation after taking the US media by storm.
St. Thomas' Ben Ancheff was regarded as a 'hero' when he took the mound as a starter against Idaho in the NAIA World Series.
"What's the old John Kruk quote? 'He's not an athlete, he's a baseball player?' Ben Ancheff: baseball hero," CBS Sports' Mike Axisa said describing the hulking player.
