LIV Golf to shut down after losing Saudi-backed funding

Renegade start-up league LIV Golf will shut down permanently after losing its Saudi-backed funding earlier this year.
In a statement, LIV Golf today announced it “intends to transition to an orderly wind-down of its operations”.
It comes after Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund pulled funding from the league, leading it to file for bankruptcy in September.
