'Finish the job': Tony Popovic wary of Saudi Arabia as automatic World Cup qualification awaits
Just 90 minutes separates the Socceroos and a ticket to the World Cup and although their spot is all but secured, Tony Popovic is not underestimating their rivals.
Saudi Arabia are still within reach of upsetting Australia's World Cup dreams on Wednesday - and they could do so on in front of a stacked home crowd.
Australia need to secure victory or a draw over Saudi Arabia to book their flight to America, however, a loss by more than five goals will prolong their qualification quest.

The last time Australia faced Saudi Arabia the match ended in a nil-all draw, which is a promising sign for Popovic given the match was only in November last year.
Still, he is not going to alter his team's mentality going into the Saudi Arabia match.

"We have a chance to finish the job against a tough opponent," Popovic said.
"We understand where we are and we are confident we can win the game.
"We understand the difficulty but we are playing for a World Cup position. We have to have the approach, the attitude and the mentality to win.
"With their home support, we know that will make it more difficulty but it's also more exciting. We want to go to the World Cup automatically and we are in a very good position (to do so)."
Popovic's appointment came in the midst of a troubling time for the Socceroos, but his spirit and character has earned the praise and respect of the playing group.
Having represented Australia himself at the 2006 World Cup, Popovic has consistently reiterated his passion for both the game and football in Australia.
In what could be a grand night of celebrations, the Socceroos will also witness the 100th cap of their skipper and goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
"I'm not treating this game any differently to how I treated my first one ... or my 50th," Ryan said.
"I'm going to help the team that I am representing beat the opposition. I just want to go out there ... and secure qualification by beating Saudi away."
Aziz Behich was the hero for the Socceroos against Japan but the defender is confident his striking boot will not be the only one to put the team over the line.
"The goal has obviously been a bit kind to me lately," he said.
"Hopefully, if I get another opportunity I can hit the back of the net again.
"We have a lot of boys in the squad that can step up and score goals as well.
