Sayer turns 459 day drought into a brace as Matildas dominate Argentina
The Matildas dominated play en route to a 4-1 win over Argentina in the second of their friendlies on Monday night.
In front of 25,125 people on a freezing cold night in Canberra, the Aussies looked the goods, outside of a lapse early in the first half.
The crowd proved to be the biggest ever for a women's sporting event in Canberra.

It was a big night for the side and its last under Tom Sermanni before Joe Montemurro takes the reins.
The Matildas were electric early and controlled much of the play, with Amy Sayer drilling an opportunity in the 14th minute into the bottom corner.
A huge moment for her in her first start for the Aussies in 459 days.
Argentina however would score their first ever goal against the Matildas shortly after, with Kishi Denise Núñez equalising in the 22nd minute.
Kahli Johnson, who scored on debut in the first friendly, was substituted out with a quad injury shortly after in a disappointing moment for her, though she continued to impress.
Sayer would give her side the ascendancy once again, scoring again before half-time to get her brace.
Caitlin Foord was instrumental, setting her up with a darting run. She would have a hand in almost everything across the evening.
Sayer was denied a shot at a hat-trick however, substituted out in the 62nd minute.
Ford and Holly McNamara were lively early in the second half, nearly turning opportunities into a bigger lead for the Matildas.
Michelle Heyman was injected into the game and also had her opportunities to extend the lead, but couldn't quite take them initially.
Argentina battled grimly to maintain close proximity in the second half. Goalkeeper Solana Pereyra certainly held up her end of the bargain, despite the scoreboard.
Emily Van Egmond would break through the Argentinians, scoring the Matildas' third goal in the 70th minute, taking full advantage of Pereyra's diving effort to keep out a Heyman shot.
Isabel Gomez became the 238th Matildas player in the 76th minute, subbed out for Van Egmond to the applause of the crowd.
Hometown hero Heyman finally got one in the back of the net herself soon after, giving her side a 4-1 lead.
The Matildas will be hoping to carry the form into the Asian Cup next March, the next big test for this squad.
