Indonesian player's goal celebration takes ugly turn as he falls into three metre deep pit
A goal celebration in the under-17s Independence Cup took a frightening turn for one Indonesia player as he attempted to run into the crowd but instead ended up in a pit.
It was supposed to be a moment of joy for Mierza Firjatullah after he nailed a perfect header into the back of the net to open the scoring against Tajikistan in the 34th minute.
But his celebrations were abruptly cut short as he fell into a three metre deep hole that surrounded the pitch.

Teammates and spectators in the stands were seen rushing to the rails to check on the young player, who was lucky to escape with no serious injury.
Firjatullah managed to return to his feet quickly after the fall and was seen speaking with spectators and venue staff above him about how to get out.

The referee then confirmed a break in play would take place until venue staff had assisted Firjatullah out of the pitch.
The scary scenes were not enough to stop the young star from returning to the field of play until he was substituted off in the 59th minute.
Indonesian coach Nova Arianto confirmed Firjatullah was doing OK post-match.

The match did not end in the way the Indonesian team were likely hoping for as Tajikistan managed a remarkable comeback to seal a 2-2 draw.
Tajikistan followed Firjatullah's goal-scoring efforts in the 37th minute before Indonesia struck back into the lead in the 50th minute.
Indonesia managed to hold onto that lead until the 90th minute when Tajikistan scored the equaliser.
