Tottenham rues missed chances in 1-1 Europa League draw with Eintracht Frankfurt
Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham will have it all to do in their Europa League quarter-final second leg as Spurs had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eintracht, the 2022 winners, took the lead early in the sixth minute through a well placed shot by striker Ekitike, who slotted the goal from outside the box into the bottom-right corner.

"I guess a little bit frustrated by the result. I thought the performance in general was really, really good from the boys," Postecoglou said post-match.
"Obviously we conceded early which was disappointing and it was a fair strike from the lad. We responded well....We hit the crossbar three times and on any other day we're winning that game. There's no reason we can't go there and play like that in the second leg."
Tottenham dominated the game but had little to show for it as the German side was jubilant after the final whistle, celebrating with the away fans.
The result was extremely important for the Germans and the overriding feeling from the Spurs was that they let a golden opportunity slip.
Tottenham will need to win or draw to send it to penalties, at the home of the third-placed side in the Bundesliga.
The second leg will be played on April 17 and the winners will face either Lazio or Norway's Bodo/Glimt for a spot in the final in Bilbao.
Bodo won the first leg 2-0 earlier.
