WAGs soak up Euro 2016 atmosphere in France
A roller coaster of emotions
The WAGs of Euro 2016 may not kick a ball in anger during the tournament but that doesn’t mean they haven’t endured the highs and lows of their superstar partners.
The girlfriend of Icelandic footballer Gylfi Sigurdsson, Alexandra Ivarsdottir (pic), rode the wave of pure jubilation as the minnow nation stormed to the quarter finals in the tournament's Cinderella story.
But her star boyfriend only brought bitter pain to the England contingent of WAGs as the Three Lions fell to a shock loss.
But Ludivine Payet, wife of French hero Dimitri, has been an ever-present face in the crowd as the host nation lock eyes on the final.
A tournament to remember
Ivarsdottir has enjoyed the amazing ride of Iceland. The country – which has a population of just over 330,000 people – beat all odds by making setting up a quarter final clash with France. (Instagram)
