Harry Brook's hilarious dig at Marnus Labuschagne as England star admits surprise at Aussie selection snub

England batter Harry Brook has admitted he was expecting to see Australia play more spin throughout the series after Todd Murphy wasn't selected for the SCG Test.
The decision around Murphy makes it three Tests out of five that Australia hasn't selected a spinner this series.
Nathan Lyon was dropped for the Gabba while Murphy didn't get picked for the MCG following Lyon's injury.

Overall in this series, Lyon has bowled 55 overs while Travis Head has contributed 16 for Australia.
For England, Will Jacks has bowled 50.3 and Joe Root eight.
"I was expecting to face a little more spin," Brook said after day one.
"Something came up on the TV that there's only been 60 overs or something per side this whole series. In previous years there was 260 overs of spin. So I was expecting to face a little more spin than we have."

In the 2021/22 series, Lyon bowled 163 overs. For England, Jack Leach played three matches for 73.5 overs and Joe Root pitched in with 57.
On the flip side, Australia's pace bowlers have been outstanding.
Mitchell Starc is likely to take player of the series honours while Scott Boland and Michael Neser are the next best for Australian wicket-takers.
"Their seamers have been outstanding this whole series," Brook said.
"They've been relentless and hit their lengths over and over again so you can see why they've gone with a five seam attack this week."
Brook then double checked with himself before delivering a sly dig at Marnus Labuschagne who has bowled pace and spin over the series.
"Six, five or six (bowlers), seam attack. However many they've got in there,"
Brook smiled.
He added, "Labuschagne as well", bringing laughter in the press conference.
